Humana venture to provide wireless health reminders

Humana Innovation Enterprises and Card Guard AG announced today that they have formed Sensei Inc., a wireless information service that will provide nutrition, weight-loss information, fitness notifications and medication reminders through mobile phones or personal digital assistants.
Operations are expected to begin in the first half of 2006. Sensei services will be marketed through wireless carriers, weight-loss companies, fitness centers, consumer-electronics companies and Web portals, the companies said. Humana Innovation is a subsidiary of Humana Inc. in Louisville. Card Guard is a health-care technology company based in Switzerland.
