Associated Industries of Missouri has a new Web-based health insurance program that takes advantage of large-employer coverage and applies it to small businesses.
It uses the power of group purchasing to offer cost-effective rates without red tape and restrictions.
AIMCare takes the underwriting out of the application process and locks in an initial rate than won't change. The appliction is filed on line and coverage is based on a company's SIC code, employees' ages and genders and the network choice. There are no health questions asked. The plan is open to all Missouri employers with at least two employees. The insurance carrier is American Community Mutual Insurance, Co., Livonia, Mich.
