MIDDLETOWN: Assemblyman Sam Thompson, R-Monmouth, is sponsoring a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug presentation 1 p.m. Thursday at the Middletown Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown.
An expert from SHIP, the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, will discuss and answer questions on the different ways the program will help people with Medicare pay for prescription drugs. Coverage begins Jan. 1 for those who join by Dec. 31. For more information, call (732) 583-5558.
