BOSTON -- Sen. Ted Kennedy usually stays out of legislative debates in Massachusetts, but when it comes to health care he's making an exception.
According to The Boston Globe, Kennedy has been calling legislative leaders and speaking to business representatives about the effort to expand insurance coverage.
The state's senior senator has not specifically endorsed any of the several health care proposals now being considered on Beacon Hill. But he did express support for a controversial House-passed measure that would require businesses with ten or more employees to offer health insurance for their workers.
